Bond Upgrade

In November 2007, Moody's Investors Service reaffirmed the City's AAA bond rating.  This represents Moody's highest quality rating and will permit the City to receive more favorable interest rates on our bonds and upgrades the quality of all existing bonds on the market.  Per the Moody's report, "The AAA rating incorporates the city's wealthy, diverse and growing tax base, a favorable debt profile that benefits from the city' self-supporting water/sewer enterprise system, and historically well-managed financial operations."  The City of Brentwood is proud to be one of only three governmental entities in the State of Tennessee with Moody's highest rating.
