Q:  How do I reserve a shelter/pavilion in one of the parks?
A: 
First, call the city at 615-371-2208 and ask about availability.  If the shelter/pavilion is available, you can complete the form on this website (by Clicking Here) and mail it to P.O. Box 788, Brentwood, TN 37024 (along with your deposit/fees) or hand deliver to 1750 General George Patton Drive.  Forms also are available at the above office. You have three business days to complete the paperwork. After that your reservation will deleted from our records.

Q: When do you start taking reservations for shelter/pavilions?
A:
We start reserving on February 1st of the current calendar year. At that time you may schedule your needed dates on a first come first serve basis. We will continue to take reservations up to October 31st of each year. During the months of November through January, no reservations will be made.

Q: How much do the shelter/pavilions cost to rent?
A:
They are free for citizens and businesses that are located inside the corporate city limits of Brentwood. If you live outside the city there is a fee required to secure your reservation. Fees for Granny White Park’s pavilion is $75.00/ up to 4hrs or $150.00/ up to 8hrs for non-Brentwood residents. Fees for River Park and Crockett Park shelters are $50.00/ up to 4hrs or $100.00/ up to 8hrs for non-Brentwood residents and businesses. There is a refundable damage deposit of $50.00 on all reservations taken including those taken from Brentwood residents and businesses.

Q:  How do I reserve an athletic facility in one of the parks?
A: 
For general rentals call 371-2208 and ask to speak with Mike Sallee the Recreation Services Coordinator for the city. If you belong to an official service provider in the city you must have your league official contact Mike.

Q:  How do I know if the playing fields are open or closed on bad weather days?
A:  Call the hotlines at 373-8310 for Granny White Park and 373-7752 for Crockett Park and Tower Park. The final decision will not be made until 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. On the weekends the hotlines will posted at 6:30 am. Please note to call back throughout the day as further updates are made as conditions change.

Q:  How long are the bike trails?
A: 
All combined the trails stretch more than 10 miles.  There are currently 6 trails each with different lengths from .7 to 2.8 miles.  The length of each can be found on a sign at each trail entrance.  A map can be found by Clicking Here. Please note that this map is not completely up to date and will be updated as we get more GIS data.

Q:  When are the parks open?
A: 
Each park has its own hours of operation.  The hours depend on location, activities available and other factors.  The hours are listed on each individual park’s web page and can be found by Clicking Here. The park system may also close early due to inclement weather and on Holidays.

Q:  When are the concerts in the park?
A: 
The concerts are held each year in Crocket Park in the Eddie Arnold Amphitheatre.  They generally occur in the months of May, June and July.  Dates and times can be found on the city calendar by Clicking Here.
