POLICE RECORDS

The Police Records department processes and maintains copies of all reports taken by the police Department. The Records Department is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am until 4:00 pm, except on holidays. Copies of reports may be obtained during regular business hours by coming to the Records Department located on the first floor of the Brentwood Municipal Building at 5211 Maryland Way. To inquire about a police report, you may call 371-2281, ext 304 or 313.

Cost of Report copies: Motor Vehicle Crash Reports- $10.00; Offense Reports- $5.00. As a convenience to the public, report copies can also be obtained by sending a self addressed stamped envelope with check included to:

Payment of Traffic Citations: Failure pay or to appear for a scheduled court appearance for a traffic violation may result in the suspension of the individuals drivers license. Traffic citations may be paid in lieu of a court appearance by signing in the appropriate location on the back of the yellow copy of the citation and mailing the signed citation copy along with a check or money order made payable to The City of Brentwood in the amount indicated on the back of the citation copy. EXCEPTION: Drivers under the age of 18 are not eligible to pay a citation in lieu of the court appearance, but must appear in Brentwood Municipal Court on the scheduled day and time with a parent or guardian.
