 Handbill Distribution

Handbills, which include leaflets, circulars and pamphlets, etc., may only be distributed  by transmitting the material directly to the owner,
occupant or other person present in or upon the property. This provision does not apply to the U.S. Postal Service or newspapers.

Health Department

The Williamson County Health Department is located at 1324 West Main Street, Franklin. For information on services, call 794-1542.

Historic Commission

The Brentwood Historic Commission’s purpose is to promote the preservation of Brentwood’s historic sites and heritage. This is
accomplished by recognizing and preserving the historic sites in Brentwood and providing educational programs, activities and events
relating to the heritage of Brentwood. The Brentwood Historical Society, sponsored by the Historic Commission, is a volunteer
organization open to all citizens.  It is also dedicated to the study and preservation of Brentwood's history and culture.  For more

Home Occupation

Home occupations must be approved by the Brentwood Board of Zoning Appeals for certain occupations or the Planning and Codes
Department. Certain types of business occupations are prohibited.  Applications should be submitted to the Planning and Codes
Department at 5211 Maryland Way. A pamphlet on "Home Occupations" may also be obtained at the Municipal Center. Contact
