LIBRARY EMPLOYMENT
The library frequently has openings for part-time library technicians. This work often includes evening and weekend hours and involves shelving books and assisting patrons. Qualifications vary according to the specific position, and the starting wage is $9.94 per hour.
Applications for these positions may be obtained by inquiring at the library or download a library employment application.
Full-time positions are available less frequently. Six of library's 12 full-time positions require a master's degree in library or information science. Openings are advertised in the local newspapers and posted on the web site of the City of Brentwood Department of Human Resources.
