LIBRARY EMPLOYMENT

The library frequently has openings for part-time library technicians. This work often includes evening and weekend hours and involves shelving books and assisting patrons. Qualifications vary according to the specific position, and the starting wage is $9.94 per hour.

Applications for these positions may be obtained by inquiring at the library or download a library employment application.

Full-time positions are available less frequently. Six of library's 12 full-time positions require a master's degree in library or information science. Openings are advertised in the local newspapers and posted on the web site of the City of Brentwood Department of Human Resources.

Questions regarding the application process or benefits should be directed to Human Resources by telephoning (615) 371-0060.
