The eTrakIt Online System allows building-related permit holders the ability to request inspections, as well as, view the status and/or inspector's notes of related inspections.
A personal identification number (PIN) is required in order to access and use the eTrakIt Online Inspection Request and Project Monitoring System. If you do not have a personal identification number (PIN), complete the application (click here) and submit it to our office. In lieu of the eTrakIt Online System, you may call the Inspection Request Line. It is available 24/7 and can be accessed by calling (615) 661-7077. Simply follow the recorded message instructions.
Whether you use the eTrakIt Online System or the Inspection Request Line, inspection requests must be received by 7:30 a.m. of the day the inspection is desired. Requests received after this time will be scheduled on the following day.
NOTE: Should you have problems accessing the eTrakIt Online System, you may need to delete your web browser's cache, cookies and/or temporary internet files. Refer to your web browser's manufacturer's instructions for further information. Many users have reported connectivity issues with Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), even after conducting the above referenced maintenance. It has been reported that the use of a different web browser, such as Mozilla's FireFox, has resolved the matter. You can download the Mozilla's FireFox browser by directing your web browser to www.mozilla.org
