The purpose of this ad-hoc committee was to oversee and coordinate efforts by the City of Brentwood to identify, facilitate and promote continuous improvement to the community’s environment. The committee was charged with reviewing and providing recommendations to the Board of Commissioners for priority actions by the City that will enhance and sustain the environmental quality of municipal operations and services, and the overall quality of life in Brentwood into the future.
With delivery of the report to the City Commission in December, the committee is no longer meeting on a regular basis. A new Environmental Advisory Board was created by the City Commission in June 2010. The members of this new Board will be appointed in August, 2010.
