2020 Plan Wins National Awards

• The City of Brentwood won two of the highest national honors awarded to local communities at the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) Conference. The awards recognize programs that have demonstrated outstanding achievement in citizen-government relationships.
  
• Brentwood 2020 Plan won first place in the Community Visioning Process.  The judges stated that this long range, proactive plan featured a good mix of vision and action to address the issues involved in rapid growth and to achieve the goals that emerged for the visioning process.
  
• Brentwood 2020 Plan also won the Silver Circle Award for citizen participation. The plan involved over 4,500 citizens in the development process through committees, neighborhood meetings, public hearings, etc.  The Brentwood 2020 Plan was chosen for two of the highest awards from more than 675 entries submitted from cities and counties throughout the nation. The City of Brentwood is honored to receive this national recognition.
