WHAT IS RECYCLING?

RECYCLING is the means of separating, collecting, processing, marketing, and ultimately re-using a material that would have been thrown away.

WHY RECYCLE?

RECYCLING helps to conserve our natural resources and protects our health and the environment by reducing our dependence on landfills and incinerators.

WHAT RECYCLING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?

For your convenience, there are several recycling facilities located throughout Williamson County.  Recycling Convenience Centers are staffed and have scheduled operating hours.  These facilities collect a variety of materials, including plastic bottles and containers, glass jars and bottles, paper, cardboard, metal tins and aluminium cans.
